About Play Magic Reef

Play Magic Reef is a shared digital aquarium that kids fill with their own art. They color a sea creature on a phone, a tablet, or a printed coloring sheet, and moments later it swims into a live 3D reef on whatever screen the family has — a TV, a laptop, even a projector.

There is no app to install and no account needed to start: kids scan the tank's QR code with any phone and begin coloring in seconds. That makes it as much at home at a birthday party or in a classroom as it is in the living room.

Play Magic Reef was created by Eugene Lee, a Korean-American creative technologist based in Paris, after a visit to an aquarium with his two nieces in Chicago. A portion of proceeds supports ocean causes.

You're welcome to quote or adapt any of this copy.
